Event Description:
The April 2016 Evensong Concert at Trinity United Methodist Church, Huntington features students and faculty of the Huntington University Music Department. The concert is planned for 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 17th at the church, 530 Guilford Street, Huntington. The program features junior and senior HU music students performing sacred arias from works such as Handel's Messiah, Bach's Magnificat, and Vivaldi's Gloria, all accompanied by Dr. Jiyoung Jeoung. Other selections feature Kaylie Killian on trumpet and Jeremiah Sherlock on bassoon. The concert is free, and the public is definitely invited. Come and enjoy an afternoon concert of beautiful music, wonderfully performed with spirit!
