Lunch n Learn

The Huntington County Chamber of Commerce plans to hold a Regional Internship Program Workshop Lunch ’n Learn on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the Horace Mann Education Center, 2485 Waterworks Road. The workshop will begin at 11:30 a.m. and conclude by 1 p.m.

Jordan Brockman, Internship Program Manager at Fort Wayne Metals, will be the guest speaker. Brockman will give an overview of the Internship Program at Fort Wayne Metals. During the workshop, the group will discuss the development of a structured internship program, and how they can help employers in the area maximize their talent pipeline and bottom line.

The Lunch 'n Learn will also feature Kay Schwob, director, Enterprise Resource Center, Huntington University; Margaret Pasko, who works with international students at HU and Tiffanney Drummond, director, Huntington County Community Learning Center (The LC).

Topics covered will include: Wired for Success, Fort Wayne Metals Internship Program; Recruitment of Interns; Onboarding Interns; Developing and Mentoring Interns; Social Media and Engagement and Mutual Evaluation. The workshop will also include a time for questions and answers.
